Digipak advertisement analysis

I am really pleased with my digipak advertisement. I used a simplistic style, similar to the style of my digipak with a limited palate. By making the styles of the digipak and digipak advert similar, it means that people who have viewed the advert will easily be able to recognise the album in a record store. I also like the subtlety in the advertisement, I feel as though the market is saturated with advertising so it is important to differentiate from other, more overt advertisements. By not clearly saying "buy this album" the viewer will be more intrigued and will want to find out more about this artist through their own research and possibly scanning the QR code with their smartphone. This is likely to be effective in a culture where people often feel bombarded with adverts.
