Music video planning

Today we split into our music video groups. In my group there are 3 other people, Harry, Lewis and George. I have never worked with this group, but I know them well and we have decided our main idea for the video.The song we have decided on is Chamber of Reflection by Mac DeMarco. We all know Mac DeMarco's work and we have decided that this song would work well.

The meaning of a 'Chamber of reflection' A Chamber of Reflection is a small darkened room. It is a place for meditation and reflection for candidates to initiate into Freemasonry

We plan to show each member of the band in their own personal chamber of reflection.

Setting/s

• The beach, specifically the north coast of the Wirral. As this has many landmarks such as Leasowe lighthouse would be interesting settings to film
• The school stage. By putting up curtains and setting up some lights we could get some good close up shots of the instruments being played

Mise en scene

• The items shown beside each person in their chamber of reflection are meant to symbolise their own meditative state. Examples of these items would be books, candles and religious symbolism/iconography

The band will be shown all together, then a separate section of film will be dedicated to showing each member individually in their own chamber of reflection.
